TASK FORCE LODGE

Nestled on top of 85 acres, the lodge will be home to every active-duty male and female program as well as spouse programs. Views of Lone Peak Mountain, Beehive Basin, and Gallatin Canyon will be the property's focal point, a long-dreamt vision. The lodge will epitomize tranquility, restoration, and camaraderie in the refreshing mountains of Big Sky.

  • Great Room

The great room stands as more than just a physical space—it’s a symbol of hope and transformation. It represents a deliberate effort to create an environment where the SOF community and their spouses can embrace authenticity, find support, and leave equipped with the courage to face their unique challenges together. A staple of impact in our programs, the "Questions of the Night" take place in the great room of each home that facilitates a Task Force. A common favorite from each recipient, these thoughtful questions are designed to draw out each individual, replacing turmoil with clarity and hope for a better future. This room must provide space and comfort for all. It is in the great room that the hearts of men and women are forever changed.

  • Kitchen

The kitchen holds deep symbolic and functional significance, serving as a cornerstone of connection, nourishment, and conversation. Our volunteers prepare meals for our recipients, fostering a deep sense of care and connection that words can hardly capture. A thoughtfully designed kitchen space is essential, enabling volunteers to create home-cooked meals while engaging in meaningful conversations with recipients. This integration not only sustains the flow of community but also invites recipients to participate in the everyday tasks that make the program so impactful. The kitchen becomes a space of shared purpose and genuine connection by bridging the gap between service and interaction.

  • Recipient Bedrooms

    (2) Bedrooms Gifted by: The Emerson Family, Anonymous Patriot

The bedrooms in the lodge are designed as true sanctuaries for the six recipients, each offering an unparalleled space for privacy, rest, and recovery. With one bedroom and bathroom dedicated to each individual, these spaces provide the solitude and comfort needed to recharge and reflect. The bedrooms are designed as private sanctuaries for each of the six recipients, offering a personal bedroom, bathroom, and balcony with stunning landscape views. Tailored for active-duty warriors, the rooms feature pumped oxygen to enhance recovery at high altitudes. With a focus on privacy, comfort, and rest, these tranquil spaces provide the ideal environment for recipients to recharge both physically and mentally, whether enjoying the serene outdoors or the calming interior.

  • Restoration Bend

The recovery area is a dedicated space for restoration and healing, allowing recipients to unwind and rejuvenate after high-adrenaline activities. Thoughtfully designed to support overall well-being, this space includes a dry sauna, steam room, massage tables, and a recovery tub to promote muscle relaxation and recovery. A dedicated room with yoga mats provides a tranquil environment for stretching, mindfulness, and yoga practice, while compression sleeves for legs aid in circulation and recovery. Every element of the recovery area is tailored to foster balance, renewal, and a sense of calm, helping recipients recharge for the days ahead.

  • Volunteer Room

Designed with intention and gratitude, this dedicated space will provide our Task Force volunteers with the rest they deserve—and need. Until now, housing limitations in our area have meant that most volunteers sleep on cots, sofas, or air mattresses. But the work they do demands more. This thoughtfully designed room will provide a quiet, peaceful environment where up to six volunteers can enjoy restorative, uninterrupted sleep, ensuring they’re fully energized to support our recipients and carry out the crucial work of saving and changing lives. Each volunteer will have: a personal sleeping space with drawers to settle in, a privacy curtain to reduce light and noise, and access to private bathroom stalls and a shared vanity area. More than just a room, this is a place of refuge and recharge, honoring the sacrifice of those who show up for others, day in and day out.

  • Outdoor Sanctuary

Designed as a sacred space for reflection, connection, and healing, the Outdoor Sanctuary will be one of the most meaningful gathering places at the Big Sky Bravery Lodge. Anchored by a custom outdoor fireplace that seamlessly connects to the main lodge’s sitting area, where we will host our cherished “Questions of the Night,”—a nightly tradition where vulnerability meets brother/sisterhood. The sanctuary will also feature a private fire pit overlooking Montana’s breathtaking peaks, intentionally designed to foster quiet conversations and one-on-one moments of reconnection. Surrounding the fire elements, thoughtfully designed seating areas, and natural landscaping will create a tranquil environment for recipients to exhale and reflect. Adjacent to the outdoor recovery tub, the space offers a restorative, open-air extension of our mission. With prominent naming rights available, your gift to this space will be permanently displayed in a place of deep meaning—where lives are changed, burdens are lifted, and warriors are reminded they’re never alone.
